Privacy Policy

Last updated:

At Al-Basera for Information Technology & Telecommunications, we respect the privacy of visitors to www.al-basera.com. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit the site or contact us, why we use it, and how long we keep it. We have designed the site to collect only what we actually need.

Contact form

If you write to us through the contact form, we use the details you enter for one purpose only: to reply to your enquiry.

The form asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The subject of your message
  • Your message

How your message reaches us and how long we keep it

Your message is sent to the company mailbox. While this happens, a temporary copy is held on our server only until it has been delivered to our mailbox successfully, and is then deleted.

If delivery keeps failing, the temporary copy is deleted automatically after 7 days.

Correspondence in our mailbox is kept only for as long as we need it to handle your enquiry and any business relationship that results from it.

Job applications

Job applications reach us by email at jobs@al-basera.com, not through forms on this website. We use your CV and any accompanying information only to assess your application, and we do not share it with anyone outside the company.

We keep an application only while it is needed to assess it or to consider you for suitable future openings. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing jobs@al-basera.com.

Spam protection

To protect the contact form from automated and spam messages, we use a hidden field that visitors do not see, and we require a minimum amount of time to pass before the form can be sent.

We also use your IP address temporarily, in our server's memory, to limit how many requests can be made. It is not written to our database.

Visit statistics

We keep simple statistics about visits to the site, so we know how many people contact us and which pages are most helpful.

We do this without cookies, without tracking identifiers and without browser fingerprinting, and we do not store IP addresses.

All we store are daily totals by page, language and event type, plus the domain name of the website that referred you to us (not the full address of the page). The events we count are:

  • Page views
  • Contact form submissions
  • Clicks on our phone number or email address links

No advertising and no marketing sharing

We do not show advertising on our site, we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else for marketing purposes.

The site does not load any third-party scripts, and its fonts are hosted on our own server.

Client logos

We display logos of some of our clients to illustrate our work.

If a logo is not yet hosted on our own server, your browser may load it directly from that organization's website. That organization then receives the request, just as it would during any normal visit to its website.

Hosting logs

Our hosting provider may keep standard technical access logs for security and operational purposes.

Security

No method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely risk-free, but we take measures to protect the site and your data, including:

  • An encrypted connection (HTTPS)
  • A strict Content Security Policy
  • Restricted access to our server

Your rights

You can ask us to give you access to, correct, or delete your correspondence with us by emailing Info@al-basera.com.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and institutions. It is not aimed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when the latest version was published.
